Akeem Robinson surprised Dr. Wyatt by attending a Brotherhood meeting on February 19, 2016. He was one of the three freshmen that initiated the idea of having a school based male mentoring program. He has served in the U. S. Navy and is currently employed by the government in a “classified” position near Seattle Washington. He gave some wise information to the guys about the importance of the Brotherhood….and how to get along with Dr. Wyatt.
Akeem assures president Aaron Brooks that he will be able to make it through the Brotherhood by saying that Dr. Wyatt’s “bark is louder than his bite”. He used himself as an example. He credits Dr. Wyatt for encouraging him to never give up but to always keep moving forward….which requires discipline.
