President’s Corner

New 2017-2018 President

FDR once stated that “ We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future.” This quote embodies the heart of what the the Kenwood Academy Brotherhood Organization aims to do. This 2017-2018 academic year marks my fifth year in the Brotherhood, where I have matriculated from a member to Secretary, Vice President, and eventually President.  Brotherhood evokes massive change in its members to evolve them into sustainable young men. This year I hope that I, with the help of my fellow brothers, can keep the legacy of the Brotherhood alive and strong. I believe that we have many ways to grow and many ways to expose the world to the cultivation of Fraternity, Responsibility, and Creativity.

“No matter how good you get, you can always get better, and that’s the exciting part” Tiger Woods

Over the past four years, I have had the honor of moving through the Kenwood Academy Brotherhood from new member to event coordinator to two term president. Over these four years I have seen this great organization improve consistently. I am completely PROUD of my brothers, and myself. But as Tiger Woods said, “You can ALWAYS get better!”

This year, the Kenwood Academy Brotherhood, along with our supporters are looking forward to another school year of EXCELLENCE and improvement, academically, socially, and financially.

I see a very promising year ahead of us and I’m very excited to show the world what the Brotherhood has to offer.
